When hair loss becomes painful during chemotherapy

Our client Moonika told us about her experience of painful hair loss during chemotherapy

My scalp began to tingle. Days passed and it got worse and worse with new side effects. It suddenly became terribly painful and I had a lot of tension on my scalp.. There was burning, itching, stinging, swarming and it felt like someone was scratching your scalp. One night it got so bad that I woke up from it and had to get up and rinse my head under water.

I went to the Wig Shop website and found a product called La Biosthetique Lotion Ergines E that was supposed to help normalize the scalp. I was ready to try anything because I couldn't be at peace anywhere. I just needed to soothe my scalp. I used it and it worked immediately! It was a complete relief to not feel the pain anymore.

It is a thin liquid cream that is very easy to spread on the scalp. It doesn't make my hair greasy but it takes away all the anxiety and pain I had.

In the first days I used it 2-3 times a day. But after a few days it was enough to use it only in the morning and in the evening. After 10 days I saw that it worked really well. In fact, the product is so good that I now only use it 1-2 times a week or when the itching starts again.

For an even greater effect, I used the lotion with Lipokerine Ergines E Shampoo for Sensitive Scalp

I contacted my oncology department and told them about my hair loss and serious side effects. They had rarely heard of someone with such an unpleasant experience as me.

Due to hair loss, I have been given a wig allowance of -20% and was advised to purchase special headgear made of natural material.

The situation here at the moment is that I have lost approx. 2/3 of the hair and unfortunately the hair loss continues. So I've bought some headgear as it gets cold around the head especially when I'm outside.
